Terms
Terms for the LessonSum pilot.
Last updated: September 20, 2026
These pilot terms describe the intended use of LessonSum by independent tutors and their approved students. The operator, governing law, service commitments, and final commercial terms are confirmed before production sales.
What LessonSum does
LessonSum provides a ledger for lesson credits, attendance explanations, corrections, approved student views, and optional read-only calendar candidates. Tutors remain responsible for confirming attendance, balances, and student access.
What LessonSum does not do
LessonSum is not a school information system, payment processor, scheduling replacement, legal adviser, or automated attendance service. Calendar events never deduct credits automatically. No feature promises delivery of offline alerts.
Your responsibilities
Use only data you are authorized to manage. Keep recovery codes safe, review invitations before approval, and check corrections before submitting them. Do not use the service to expose another student's record or to bypass access controls.
Termination and consequences
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, attempt unauthorized access to other users' records, bypass access controls, or engage in activity that compromises service security. Upon termination, your access will be blocked immediately. We will retain data only as required for audit purposes and will delete personal data in accordance with our privacy policy.
Pilot availability
Pilot rates and access may change before a paid launch. This page does not create an automatic subscription, payment obligation, uptime guarantee, or refund promise. Any paid service will present final terms before purchase.
